Pender Island House was commissioned by a client interested in a long simple form that felt modern yet rustic. The house contains a circulation spine which runs along the back of the house facing a natural rock formation, offering an experience of shelter and intimacy. Rooms are oriented overlooking the surrounding meadow which provides a sense of openness and freedom.
